Rev. Daniel Kuhr

Lead Pastor

Daniel came to us from Florida, joining the EBC staff in March 2019 as Student Pastor and as Lead Pastor in 2023. He is a 2009 graduate from Trinity Baptist College with a BA in Pastoral Theology. It was there that he would meet his wife, Kim. They have four beautiful children; Jordyn, Addisyn, Eleanor, and Marshal. Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golf, sports and proudly proclaims, “It’s great to be a Florida Gator!” Daniel is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree through Liberty University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Rev. Andrew Burgess

Student Pastor

Andrew joined EBC in January 2024 as Student Pastor. Prior to coming to Eastside, he worked with a parachurch organization known as Cru (Formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). During his time with Cru, Andrew served on the campus of USC Upstate and later initiated a basketball ministry in Spartanburg called Hoop Coalition, which continues to thrive in the city today. Andrew shares his life with his wife, Megan, and their two boys. One of Andrew’s greatest passions is to help others in their path of discipleship to Jesus.

Jaylan Brinson

Worship Leader

Jaylan came to Eastside in May of 2024. She is a native of Hendersonville, NC, and is a 2024 graduate of North Greenville University with a degree in Worship Studies. It is there that Jaylan met her fiancé, Stephen, and they are getting married in December 2024. She has experience from other positions such as internships, jobs, and camp ministry. Along with serving at Eastside, she teaches choir and theatre at Spartanburg Christian Academy. She loves music, dance, theatre, etc. and pursues those in her free time.

Rev. Brian Collins

Children's Pastor

Brian Collins currently serves as the Children’s Pastor and leads the Young Life Mobilization Ministry at Eastside Baptist Church. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Marketing and Management, and he has a Masters in Apologetics from Biola University. He has published, Truth, a book focusing on absolute truth you can depend on no matter the circumstance. Brian is married to his lovely wife, Shannon. They have four sons; Nick, Spencer, Cameron, and Aidan.

Rev. Sean Lytle

Connections Pastor

Sean came to Eastside in 2020 as a member, intern in August 2021, and as Connections Pastor in March 2022 with the goal of growing people through discipleship and growing community by connecting people in service and love. Sean has a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his beautiful wife for over 30 years and has three children.

Landon Norris

Pastoral Intern

Landon was brought on staff at Eastside in July of 2021. He is a native of Spartanburg and is a 2023 graduate from Broome High School. Landon was saved at a young age and felt the call to ministry at the end of his 7th grade year. Since, he has been able to serve and lead school level FCA huddles, Bible Studies, and Co-Leads a ministry called Exalt. As the Pastoral Intern, Landon does a variety of things from usual pastoral duties, to behind the scenes work. Landon currently attends North Greenville University to achieve a BA in Christian Studies to further his calling to Pastor. In his free time, Landon loves to spend time with his family and friends, play golf, drum, read, and eat some good food!

Graham Guy

Worship Intern

Graham joined the EBC Staff in May of 2024. He is from Boiling Springs, SC. Graham attends Liberty University to obtain a Bachelors of Music to further his calling to lead worship. He has experience in leading worship on the local church level, leading D-Now’s and worship nights, traveling with LU Vessel Worship, and even is a songwriter himself. Graham is gifted in many facets, but his passion is always to bring praise to Jesus. In his free time, Graham likes to play spike ball, pickle ball, and hang out with his friends and family.

Crystal Quinn

Administrative Assistant

Crystal came to Eastside in November 2017. She is originally from Union, SC, where she served as an administrative assistant in ministry for over 10 years. Before serving on staff in ministry she worked in the banking industry for several years. She now lives in Jonesville with her husband Robby. She loves being involved in missions, women’s ministry and spending time with family, but her greatest calling now is being the proud “Grammy” to 4 precious grandchildren.
